Meet John Nguyen
I’m proud to serve you as Garden Grove’s Neighborhood Improvement and Conservation Commissioner. The duties are to protect, to conserve, and to improve our neighborhood's beauty and great values for our citizens, our children, and our future generations.
I’m a Telecommunication Engineer with more than 17 years experience working for top U.S. companies. I have a BS and Master's degree in Computer and Electrical Engineer.
My family lives in Garden Grove and my two children are currently attending GGUSD. One of my children is a student with special needs.
I’m currently a Volunteer Teacher at the TTVN Hong Bang Vietnamese School, member of Toastmasters International and Former V.P. Public Relations of Westminsters Toastmasters Club.
I’ve experienced first hand the issues that our Public Education is facing with.
With my personal experiences as well as my desires to make a difference, when elected as GGUSD Governing Board Member, I will address the concerns of our children, students, students with special needs, parents, teachers, and community in the decision making of our K-12 education system. (More ...)
